The proposed motor vehicle repair business is consistent with the current general industrial zoning classification, which is intended to encourage the development of industrial parks where uses of varying types and scale of operations can be located. Such businesses may include, office, distribution, light industrial, warehousing, wholesaling, and repair businesses. 2. The use is consistent with the character of this general industrial zoning classification. The City's Comprehensive Plan identifies this area as Industrial. The character of the area will not change noticeably. 3. There is a graded berm and landscaping along the east side of the property. This does provide screening and a buffer between the property and the residential development to the east Resolution 2014-6 Page 2 ADOPTED by the City Council this 3'd day of March 2014 r Tom Weidt, MYyor ATTEST: Pichele Lindau, City Clerk
