A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION (MNDOT) TO COMPLETE A SPEED STUDY ON 165TH
STREET BETWEEN STATE TRUNK HIGHWAY NO. 61 AND COUNTY
STATE -AID HIGHWAY NO.4 (170TH STREET)
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Hugo is interested in reviewing the speed
limit on 165t` Street between State Trunk Highway No. 61 and County State -Aid
Highway No. 4, with a particular interest in reviewing the location of speed transition
locations within the corridor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF HUGO, WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA, that it should and
hereby does request that MnDOT complete a speed study on 165th Street between State
Trunk Highway No. 61 and County State -Aid Highway No. 4 for the purposes of
determining the proper speed limit and speed limit transition location(s) within the
corridor.
