A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION (MNDOT) TO COMPLETE A SPEED STUDY ON IRISH
AVENUE NORTH BETWEEN C.S.A.H 8 AND 147TH STREET NORTH
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Hugo is interested in reviewing the speed
limit on Irish Avenue North between CSAH 8 and 1471' Street North; with a particular
interest in reviewing the location where there is a transition between bituminous and
gravel surface.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF HUGO, WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA, that it should and
hereby does request that MnDOT complete a speed study on Irish Avenue North between
CSAH 8 and 14r Street North for the purposes of determining the proper speed limit
and speed limit transition location(s) within the corridor.
