APPROVING A SITE PLAN FOR NEW LIFE CHURCH FOR CONSTRUCTION
OF A BUILDING ADDITION ON THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT 6000148TH
STREET NORTH
WHEREAS, New Life Church has requested approval of a site plan for a construction of
a building addition to the church and is legally described as follows:

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said site plan on June 26, 2014, and
recommends approval subject to the conditions listed in this resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the site
plan for New Life Church for construction of a building addition with the following
findings:
1. A site plan is approved to allow construction of an approximately 4,560 square foot
building addition to the church in accordance with the plans dated May 20, 2014, and
June 5, 2014, except as amended by this resolution.
2. If parking issues occur, additional parking shall be constructed as deemed necessary
by the City.
3. The applicant will be responsible for the City's water and sewer trunk fees, as well
the water (WAC) and sewer (SAC) connection fees to be paid at the time of the
building permit. The applicant will also be responsible for the Met Council sewer
connection fee (Met Council REC).
4. The applicant shall obtain all necessary local, state, and federal permits.
Prior to commencement of any grading or site development work:
5. All items on the Engineer's memo and "red -line" detailed engineering comments that
have been sent directly to the applicant's engineer dated June 18, 2014, shall be
addressed.
Prior to the issuance of a building permit:
6. The gutters and downspouts shall be integrated into the building design and shall be
reviewed and approved by staff.
7. A landscape plan shall be reviewed and approved by staff.
8. Cut -sheets of pole or wall mounted lights to be installed shall be reviewed and
approved by staff.

9. All ground mechanical equipment must be screened from view of adjacent properties.
Prior to issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy:
10. All required landscaping shall be fully installed.

Quarter (NW% of NE%) of Section Twenty (20), Township Thirty-one (31), Range Twenty-one (21), and that
part of the East 354 feet of the West 1054 feet of the Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter (NW% df
NE%) of Section Twenty (20), Township Thirty. -one (31), Range Twenty-one (21), lying South of the North 210
feet and lying North of the following described line:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 20;
thence North along the West line of said Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter, a distance of 433 feet,
thence North 89022' East, a distance of 675 feet; thence North 65°27' East, to the intersection with the East
line of the West 1054 feet of said Northwest Quarter of the Northeast Quarter, and there terminating,
excepting therefrom the South 50 feet thereof measured at right angles to the South line of the above tract,
