A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND ORDERING THE
PREPARATION OF PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE PROPOSED LAKE
AIR ESTATES/BALD EAGLE ESTATES ROADWAY AND DRAINAGE
IMPROVEMENTS INCLUDING 124TH STREET N., 124TH STREET COURT N., 124TH
STREET CIRCLE N., EUROPA AVENUE, FALCON AVENUE, FALCON COURT N.,
GALLIVAN COURT N., AND 126TH STREET N.
WHEREAS, a Resolution adopted by the City Council on July 18, 2011, called for the City's consultant
City Engineer to prepare a feasibility study related to the proposed Lake Air Estates/Bald
Eagle Estates roadway and drainage improvements. The nature of the improvements
include roadway reconstruction, storm drainage, and sanitary sewer repair, and
appurtenant work; and
WHEREAS, such feasibility report was received by the City Council at the October 3, 2011, regular
City Council meeting; and
WHEREAS, a motion of the City Council adopted on October 3, 2011, fixed a date for a Public
Hearing on the proposed improvements to be held on November 7, 2011; and
WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was given, and the
hearing was held thereon on the 7`" day of November, 2011, at which time all persons
desiring to be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HUGO, MINNESOTA:
1. Such improvements are necessary, cost-effective, and feasible as detailed in the feasibility report.
2. Such improvement is hereby ordered as outlined in the feasibility report adopted the P day of
October, 2011.
3. WSB & Associates, Inc. is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. The engineer shall
prepare plans and specifications for the making of such improvement.
Whereupon said resolution was moved for adoption by Council Member Weidt and duly seconded by
Council Member Petryk.
Council members voting AYE: Haas, Klein, Pet* Weidt, Miron
Council members voting NAY: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 7a` day of November, 2011.
