APPROVING THE APPLICATION BY A GOVERNMENTAL SUBDIVISION
FOR CONVEYANCE OF TAX -FORFEITED LANDS FOR AN AUTHORIZED
PUBLIC USE FOR FOUR PARCELS, AND APPROVING THREE PARCELS
FOR PRIVATE SALE TO AN ADJACENT LAND OWNER.
WHEREAS, Washington County has notified the City of seven parcels located in the City
that were forfeited to the State of Minnesota for non-payment of property tax, and;
WHEREAS, the Council considered these parcels at their December 5, 2011 meeting,
and;
WHEREAS, the City requests conveyance of two of the parcels to the City for public use,
and the 2 parcels are legally described as follows:
Park, Beaver Ponds South
Outlot A, Beaver Ponds South
WHEREAS, the City requests conveyance of two of the parcels to the City for subsequent
conveyance to the Victor Gardens Home Owners Association, and the two parcels are
legally described as follows:
Outlot B, Victor Gardens South Village
Outlot B, Victor Gardens P Addition
WHEREAS, the City approves three parcels for private sale to an adjacent property
owner, and the three parcels are described as follows:
Outlot A, Victor Gardens South Village
Outlot D, Victor Gardens
Outlot E, Victor Gardens
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the
Application by a Governmental Subdivision for Conveyance of Tax -Forfeited Lands for
an Authorized Public Use for four parcels, and approves three parcels for private sale to
an adjacent property owner.
ADOPTED by the City Council on December 5, 2011.
