A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT, AND ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF PLANS
AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE SOUTH EGG LAKE AREA ROADWAY, DRAINAGE, AND
UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, a Resolution adopted by the City Council on October 12, 2009, called for the City's consultant
City Engineer to prepare a feasibility study related to the proposed South Egg Lake Area
roadway, drainage, and utility improvements. The nature of the improvements include complete
roadway reconstruction, storm drainage, sanitary sewer and watermain repair, and appurtenant
work; and
WHEREAS, such feasibility report was received by the City Council at the January 4, 2010, regular City Council
meeting; and
WHEREAS, a motion of the City Council adopted on January 4, 2010 fixed a date for a Public Hearing on the
proposed improvements to be held on February 1, 2010; and
WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was given, and the
hearing was held thereon on the 1St day of February, 2010, at which time all persons desiring to
be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HUGO, MINNESOTA:
1. Such improvements are necessary, cost-effective, and feasible as detailed in the feasibility report.
2. Such improvement is hereby ordered as outlined in the feasibility report adopted the 4t" day of January,
2010.
3. WSB & Associates is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. The engineer shall prepare
plans and specifications for the making of such improvement.
Whereupon said resolution was moved for adoption by Council member Weidt and duly seconded by
Council member Haas.
Council members voting AYE: Petryk, Weidt, Klein, Haas, Miron
Council members voting NAY: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 1St day of February, 2010
