APPROVING A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR A HORSE TRAINING AND
BOARDING FACILITY IN THE FUTURE URBAN SERVICE ZONING
DISTRICT ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 16345 EVERTON AVENUE NORTH
WHEREAS, Debi Drake has requested approval of a conditional use permit to allow a
horse training and boarding facility on property located at 16345 Everton Avenue North.
WHEREAS, the property is legally described as:

WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said conditional use permit at a duly
called public hearing on July 22, 2010, and recommends approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the
conditional use permit for a horse training and boarding facility on property located at
16345 Everton Avenue North.
1. The applicant shall meet all requirements for horse training and boarding facilities
under section 90-233 of the City Code.
2. The living quarters shall be in the barn and meet all building code requirements.
3. Prior to the occupancy of the accessory apartment, a building permit shall be
issued and all required work shall be completed.
4. One accessory apartment is permitted within the barn for the use of a single
employee of the horse training and boarding facility. The accessory apartment
shall not be used, occupied, or leased for any other purpose.
ADOPTED by the City Council this 2nd day of August 2010.
