A RESOLUTION TEMPORARILY SUSPENDING DOG LICENSING FEES ON
PET VACCINATION DAY AND SPAY AND NUETERING DAY
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Hugo has scheduled Pet Vaccination Day in
the City of Hugo on October 2, 2010 to encourage residents to vaccinate their dogs and
cats, and;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Hugo has scheduled Spay and Neutering
Day in the City of Hugo on September 28, 2010 to encourage residents to spay and neuter
their dogs and cats, and;
WHEREAS, the City Council requires dogs to be licensed per City Ordinance Chapter
10-28, Dog License, with the fees for dog licensing established in Hugo City Code,
Chapter 30-2, Fee Schedule, and;
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Hugo would like to provide an incentive to
encourage Hugo resident to license their dogs during these scheduled dates and all future
Pet Vaccination and Spay and Neutering Days by temporarily reducing dog licensing fees
established in the fee schedule on those days, and;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF HUGO, WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA, temporarily suspends the Fee
Schedule regarding dog licensing fees on Pet Vaccination Days and Spay and Neutering
Days in the City of Hugo.
Adopted by the Hugo City Council this 7h day of September, 2010.
