RESOLUTION APPROVING PRELIMINARY TAX LEVY PAYABLE IN 2011
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO,
WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA, that the following sums of money be levied
for the current year, payable in 2011, upon the taxable property in the City of Hugo,
and certified to Washington County for collection:
General Operating
Capital Improvements
Capital Equipment Purchases
Park Improvements
Total General Levy
Tax Abatement (CSAH 8)
Tax Abatement (Parkland Acquisition & Improvements)
Total Tax Abatement Levy
PW Facility Bonds of 2004 (General Obligations)
Improvements Bonds of 2009 (General Obligations)
Capital Improvement Bonds of 2010 (General Obligations)
Total Debt Service Levy
Total Certified Tax Levy

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director is authorized to adjust the General Operating
portion of the tax levy prior to certification to Washington County to ensure that the proposed urban tax
rate equals the payable 2010 urban tax rate.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the final budget and tax levy hearing be scheduled for
December 6, 2010 at 7:00 pm at City Hall, 14669 Fitzgerald Avenue North, and
that the public is invited to speak at this hearing prior to adoption of the final budget and tax levy.

Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 7th day of September, 2010.
