RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING JADON OLLILA FOR HIS 14 YEARS OF
PUBLIC SERVICE ON THE HUGO FIRE DEPARMENT
CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA
WHEREAS, Jadon was hired by the Hugo Fire Department in October 17, 1996; and
WHEREAS, Jadon served as the Assistant Training and Safety Officer from January
2000 to December 2000 when he became the Training Officer; and
WHEREAS, Jadon served as the Training Officer from December 2000 until January
2002 when he was promoted to Assistant Chief; and
WHEREAS, Jadon served as the Assistant Chief from January 2002 until January 2005
when he was promoted to Deputy Chief; and
WHEREAS, Jadon was appointed Deputy Fire Chief in January 2005 until he retired
from the Department on October 12010; and
WHEREAS, Jadon served as the president of the Washington County Fire Chief s
Association from January, 2010 until October 1, 2010; and
WHEREAS, Jadon served as President of the Hugo Firefighters Relief Association; and
WHEREAS, Jadon served as the Chair on a number of county and state fire department
associations; and
WHEREAS, Jadon is a well known and well respected leader on the Hugo Fire
Department;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF HUGO, WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA, that the Hugo City
Council officially recognizes Jadon 011ila for his commitment and dedication on the
Hugo Fire Department and publicly thank him for his 14 years of dedicated public service
to the City of Hugo.
Adopted and passed this 18"' day of October, 2010 by order of the Hugo City Council.
