A RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT, AND ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF PLANS
AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE SOUTH ETHAN AVENUE ROADWAY, DRAINAGE, AND
UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, a Resolution adopted by the City Council on July 6, 2010, called for the City's consultant City
Engineer to prepare a feasibility study related to the proposed South Ethan Avenue roadway,
drainage, and utility improvements. The nature of the improvements include complete roadway
reconstruction, storm drainage, sanitary sewer and watermain installation, and appurtenant work;
and
WHEREAS, such feasibility report was received by the City Council at the October 4, 2010, regular City Council
meeting; and
WHEREAS, a motion of the City Council adopted on October 4, 2010 fixed a date for a Public Hearing on the
proposed improvements to be held on November 1, 2010; and
WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearin* wasgiven, and the
hearing was held thereon on the I" day of November, 2010, at which time all persons desiring to
be heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HUGO, MINNESOTA:
1. Such improvements are necessary, cost-effective, and feasible as detailed in the feasibility report.
2. Such improvement is hereby ordered as outlined in the feasibility report adopted the 0 day of October,
2010.
3. WSB & Associates is hereby designated as the engineer for this improvement. The engineer shall prepare
plans and specifications for the making of such improvement.
Whereupon said resolution was moved for adoption by Council member Petryk and duly seconded by
Council member Weidt.
Council members voting AYE: Klein, Petryk, Haas, Weidt, Miron
Council members voting NAY: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this I" day of November, 2010
