A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION (MNDOT) TO COMPLETE A SPEED STUDY ON STATE
TRUNK HIGHWAY NO. 61 BETWEEN 152ND STREET AND 147TH STREET
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Hugo is interested in revising the location of
the transition from 55 mph to 35 mph on State Trunk Highway 61, somewhere between
152nd Street and 147" Street;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF HUGO, WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does
authorize MnDOT to complete a speed study on State Trunk Highway 61, somewhere
between 152nd Street and 147h Street for the purposes of determining the proper location
for the transition of the speed limit from 55 mph to 35 mph.
Adopted by the City Council this 20th day of April, 2009.
