A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO,
WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA, DEFINING THE ADMINISTRATION
PROCEDURES OF THE WETLAND CONSERVATION ACT
WHEREAS, the City of Hugo is authorized by Minnesota Administrative Rules Part
8420.0200, Subpart 2, to delegate certain local government unit functions with regard to
implementation of the Wetland Conservation Act, including decision authority for
exemption, no loss, wetland boundary and type, determinations with its staff.
WHEREAS, City of Hugo staff is defined as the City Engineer, Senior Engineering
Technician, or its designee.
THEREFORE; BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Hugo, that decision
authority for exemption, no loss, wetland boundary and type, and sequencing
determinations, are placed with City of Hugo staff.
AND, that decision authority for replacement plan and wetland banking determinations
are placed with the City Council of the City of Hugo.
AND, City of Hugo staff, may request City Council decision authority for exemption, no
loss, wetland boundary and type, and sequencing determinations.
Council members voting AYE: Haas, Klein, Weidt, Petryk
Council members voting NAY: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 1" day of June, 2009.
