A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE DONATION OF AN ANTIQUE 1938
DODGE FIRE TRUCK FROM THE HUGO LIONS CLUB
WHEREAS, the Hugo Lions Club has proposed donating an Antique 1938 Dodge Fire
Truck to the City of Hugo and the Hugo Fire Department; and,
WHEREAS, the Hugo Lions Club has suggested their donation be used for Hugo Fire
Department activities and various civic and charitable events; and,
WHEREAS, all parties agree to the Charitable Gift Agreement on file at Hugo City Hall;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Hugo agrees that said donation would be of
benefit to the citizens of Hugo; and,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Hugo,
Minnesota hereby acknowledges and agrees to accept said donation of an Antique 1938
Dodge Fire Truck from the Hugo Lions Club on behalf of the citizens of Hugo.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Hugo designates
said donation for use by the Hugo Fire Department and Hugo Lions Club in accordance
with the Charitable Gift Agreement.
Adopted and passed this 17`h day of August, 2009 by order of the Hugo City Council.
