A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION (MNDOT) TO COMPLETE A SPEED STUDY ON STATE
TRUNK HIGHWAY NO. 61 BETWEEN 170T" STREET AND 147T" STREET
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Hugo is interested in reviewing the speed
limit on State Trunk Highway 61 between 170`h Street and 147`h Street, with a particular
interest in reviewing the location of speed transition locations within the corridor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF HUGO, WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does
request that MnDOT complete a speed study on State Trunk Highway 61 between 170th
Street and 147`h Street for the purposes of determining the proper speed limit and speed
limit transition location(s) within the corridor.
Adopted by the City Council this 21 st day of September, 2009.
