A RESOLUTION ORDERING THE PREPARATION OF A FEASIBILITY REPORT
FOR FLAY AVENUE, FONDANT AVENUE, 141sT STREET, AND 142ND STREET
ROADWAY, DRAINAGE, AND UTILITY IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, it is being considered to improve the following roadways:
• Fondant Avenue between Egg Lake Road (CSAH 8) and 142nd Street
• Flay Avenue between Egg Lake Road (CSAH 8) and 141" Street
• 141" Street between Forest Boulevard (TH 61) and Fondant Avenue
• 142"d Street between Forest Boulevard (TH 61) and a point approximately 300 feet east of
Fondant Avenue
The improvements include the reconstruction of the roadway, storm drainage improvements,
sidewalk/trail construction, reconstruction of the sanitary sewer and water systems, and easement
acquisition. It is the intent to assess the benefited properties for all or a portion of the cost of the
improvements, pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HUGO,
MINNESOTA:
1. The project is hereby referred to WSB & Associates, Inc. and they are instructed to report to
the Council with all convenient speed advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether
the proposed improvements are necessary, cost effective and feasible and whether they should
best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost
of the improvement as recommended.
Council members voting AYE: Klein, Haas, Petryk, Weidt, Miron
Council members voting NAY: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 19th day of October, 2009.
