RESOLUTION FOR LAYOUT APPROVAL FOR THE HIGHWAY 61
CORRIDOR PLAN
WHEREAS, the City of Hugo, in cooperation with the Commissioner of Transportation,
and Washington County has prepared a final layout for T.H. 61 with in the City of Hugo.
The layout includes long-range plans related to operational improvements, additional
roadway capacity, safety enhancements such as turn lanes, channelization, access
management, and right-of-way for T.H. 61 within the City. The limits of the project
along T.H. 61 are between 120th Street and the north City limit; and
WHEREAS, said project layout is on file at Hugo City Hall, 14669 Fitzgerald Ave N,
Hug, Minnesota and in the Minnesota Department of Transportation office, Waters Edge,
Roseville, Minnesota, dated May 19, 2008.
WHEREAS, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) dated May 19, 2008 has been
developed between the City and Washington County and Mn/DOT.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUGO, WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA, that the Hugo City Council officially
approves the preliminary layout of the Highway 61 corridor.
Adopted and passed this 2nd day of June 2008 by order of the Hugo City Council.
