RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION FINDING
THE TAX INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN FOR TAX
INCREMENT FINANCING DISTRICT NO. 1-2 CONFORMS TO THE
CITY PLANS FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THE CITY AS A WHOLE
WHEREAS, the City of Hugo, Minnesota (the "City") has heretofore prepared a
Development Program for Development District No. 1 (the "Program") which Program was
approved by the Planning Commission pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.028 and
Section 469.126, and
WHEREAS, the City proposes to establish Tax Increment Financing District No. 1-2 (the
"TIF District") within Development District No. 1 and has prepared a Tax Increment Financing
Plan (the "Plan") for the TIF District and has submitted the Plan to the City Planning
Commission pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.028 and Section 469.175, Subd. 3, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed said Plan to determine conformity
of said Plan to the general plan for the development or redevelopment of the City as a whole, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission is in agreement with the Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Planning Commission of the City of
Hugo that the proposed Plan conforms to the general plan for the development or redevelopment
of the City as a whole and the Commission forwards the Plan to the City Council of the City of
Hugo for their approval.
Adopted by the Planning Commission of the City of Hugo, this 22nd day of March, 2007.
