RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF CONTINUED FUNDING
FOR WASHINGTON COUNTY EXTENSION PROGRAMS
WHEREAS, the Washington County Board has long supported the Washington County
Extension Program; and
WHEREAS, the Washington County Extension Program provides funding to help
maintain the rural character and heritage for cities; and
WHEREAS, the Washington County Extension Program provides funding for the Master
Gardener Program, which the Hugo City Hall benefits from; and
WHEREAS, the Washington County Extension Program provides funding that supports the 4H
program and development of youth leaders; and
WHEREAS, Washington County District 1 Commissioner Dennis Hegberg has been a long
time supporter and served on the Extension Committee;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUGO, WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA that the Washington County Board
support the good work of the Washington County Extension Program and continue its funding
in 2008.
Upon roll call, the following voting AYE: Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron
Voting NAY: NONE
Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted'r day of June 2008.
