APPROVING THE APPLICATION BY A GOVERNMENTAL SUBDIVISION
FOR CONVEYANCE OF TAX -FORFEITED LANDS FOR AN AUTHORIZED
PUBLIC USE FOR TEN PARCELS, AND APPROVING ONE PARCEL FOR
PRIVATE SALE TO AN ADJACENT LAND OWNER
WHEREAS, Washington County has notified the City of eleven parcels located in the
City that were forfeited to the State of Minnesota for non-payment of property tax, and;
WHEREAS, the Council considered these parcels at their November 5, 2007 meeting,
and;
WHEREAS, the City requests conveyance of ten of the parcels to the City for public use,
and:
WHEREAS, the ten parcels are legally described as follows:
Outlot A, Beaver Ponds 5" Addition
Outlot A, Rice Lake Meadows
Outlot B, Rice Lake Meadows 2°d Addition
Outlot A, Rice Lake Meadows 3'd Addition
Outlot A, Sweet Grass Meadows 3`d Addition
Outlot B, Creekview Preserve
Outlot C, Creekview Preserve
Outlot B, Creekview Preserve 2"d Addition
Outlot A, Creekview Preserve 3`d Addition
Outlot B, Creekview Preserve 3rd Addition
WHEREAS, the City approves one parcel for private sale to an adjacent property owner,
and;
WHEREAS, the one parcel is described as follows:
Outlot B, Rice Lake Meadows, 3`d Addition
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the
Application by a Governmental Subdivision for Conveyance of Tax -Forfeited Lands for
an Authorized Public Use for ten parcels, and approves one parcel for private sale to an
adjacent property owner.
