RESOLUTION OF CONCURRENCE WITH WASHINGTON COUNTY FOR AWARD
OF BID FOR CSAH 8/14 PROJECT
WHEREAS, the City of Hugo desires to design, construct, and maintain CSAH 8 between
Elmcrest Avenue N. and Trunk Highway (TH) 61, and the City Street between TH 61 and 300
feet east; and
WHEREAS, the City of Hugo and Washington County have entered into an Agreement for the
project; and
WHEREAS, the County project number for this project is SP 82-608-07, and the City number for
this project is SP 224-020-001; and
WHEREAS, Washington County has let bids for this construction and has determined that Arnt
Construction Company, Inc. is the low bidder; and
WHEREAS, Washington County accepted bids for a MCES sewer interceptor to Lino Lakes,
which should be constructed in coordination with this project, even though the low bid was higher
than the engineer's estimate;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Hugo concurs in the bid award to Arnt
Construction Company, Inc. through the authorization of the Hugo City Council.
Upon roll call, members voting AYE: Granger, Haas, Petryk, Puleo, Miron
Members voting NAY: NONE
Whereupon said resolution was declared and passed this P day of January 2006.
