APPROVING APPLICATION FOR METROPOLITAN COUNCIL LOCAL
PLANNING ASSISTANCE LOAN
WHEREAS, the City of Hugo will be undergoing a comprehensive plan update in 2007,
and;
WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Council is offering a Local Planning Assistance Loan in an
effort to assist municipalities which the financial burden of this process, and;
WHEREAS, the loan would help disburse some of the costs of the update over a two year
period interest free, and;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve that staff
make an application for a Metropolitan Council Local Planning Assistance Loan.
ADOPTED by the City Council this 16th day of October, 2006.
