HomeMy WebLinkAbout2005.11.28 RESO 2005-0063RESOLUTION 2005-63 A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO, WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA, APPROVING A PERMIT FOR THE INSTALLATION OF A TEMPORARY MANUFACTURED HOME IN ORDER TO PROVIDE TEMPORARY HOUSING IN THE PLACE OF A DWELLING THAT L12AVI1)*10"T1114D)1331UI"I� WHEREAS, Mr. James Veiman's house at 16585 Ingersoll Avenue North was recently destroyed by fire, and; WHEREAS, Mr. Veiman is desirous of installing temporary living arrangements on site until such time as a permanent residence can be reconstructed, and; WHEREAS, Section 1195-440.1, Subd. 6 of the Hugo Zoning Ordinance allows the City Council to issue permits for the installation of temporary manufactured housing for a property owner whose home was destroyed by fire. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does grant a permit for Mr. James Veiman to allow for the installation of a manufactured home at 16585 Ingersoll Aveune North, subject to the following conditions: 1. The permit expires one year following the date of issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for the manufactured home. 2. The applicant shall obtain a building permit prior to installation of the home. 3. The manufactured home shall meet the requirements outlined in Minnesota Rules, Chapter 1350 for manufactured homes regarding the requirements for seals, code compliance, and construction compliance. 4. The manufactured home shall be installed by a manufactured home installer licensed by the State of Minnesota. 5. Prior to occupancy of the manufactured home, the applicant shall obtain satisfactory City inspections for the anchoring system, the gas line, the plumbing system, and the septic system hook up. 6. Prior to the issuance of a building permit, the applicant shall submit an escrow deposit of $2,500 to ensure that the house is removed within a one-year period.
