RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING THEODORA PELTIER
FOR HER MANY YEARS OF PUBLIC SERVICE
TO THE CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA
WHEREAS, Theodora Peltier was first hired as the Town Clerk by the Oneka
Township Board in 1959; and
WHEREAS, Theodora Peltier was instrumental in the merger of Oneka
Township and the Village of Hugo in 1972, later serving for many
years as a Council member and Planning Commissioner•, and
WHEREAS, Theodora Peltier has been a volunteer, member of the PTA, and a
community leader, who has been involved in many projects, which
have improved the City; and
WHEREAS, Theodora Peltier has submitted her letter of resignation effective
December 31, 2003, and will be deeply missed by the Planning
Commission, City Council, and City staff,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Hugo City Council officially
recognizes Theodora Peltier for 44 years of dedicated public service, and publicly thank
her for her civic mindedness and volunteerism to the City of Hugo.
Adopted this 5a' day of January 2004 by order of the Hugo City Council.
