RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING DAVE STRUB
FOR HIS SIX YEARS OF VOLUNTEERISM AND PUBLIC SERVICE ON THE
PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION
CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA
WHEREAS, Dave Strub served on the Parks and Recreation Commission from
July 20,1998 to March 31, 2004; and
WHEREAS, Dave Strub served as an active participative commissioner on a
number of projects which enhanced the community; and
WHEREAS, Dave Strub was involved in the creation of the City's first ever
Parks and Recreation Commission which accomplished significant
projects in Hugo like the Parks Master Plan, Lions Park
Playground equipment, Beaver Ponds soccer field, Bernin Park,
Oneka Ponds Park, a variety of bituminous trails throughout the
community, a variety of public/private parks in Victor Gardens,
and establishment of the Neighborhood Block Program; and
WHEREAS, Dave Strub has submitted his letter of resignation effective March
31, 2004, and will be deeply missed by the Parks and Recreation
Commission, City Council, and City Staff; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Hugo City Council officially
recognizes Dave Strub for his volunteerism and publicly thank him for his six years of
dedicated service to the City of Hugo.
Adopted this 1 st day of March 2004 by order of the Hugo City Council.
