RESOLUTION RECOGNIMG RONALD J. ISTVANOVICH
FOR HIS YEARS OF PUBLIC SERVICE TO THE
CITY OF HUGO .
WHEREAS; Ron Istvanovich has been a member of the Hugo Fire Department
since September 1972; and
WHEREAS, Icon Istvanovic h served as 2m Assistant Fire Chief in 1977 aril Is'
Assistant Fire Chief in 1978; and
WHEREAS, Ron Istvanovich served as Hugo Fire Chief from 1979 to 1993; and'
WHEREAS, Ron Istvanovich served as a member of the Hugo Fire Department
Relief Association Board of Trustees for many years; and
WHEREAS, Ron Istvanovich has decided to retire from the Hugo Fire Department
with 30 years of dedicated service to the City of Hugo; and
MEREAS, Ron Istvanovich has been a proud and active member of Hugo
Fire Department and involved in many of the projects that have
.improved the dot; and
WHEREAS, The Hugo City Council wishes to formally recognize Ron
Istvanovich for his loyalty and 30 years of dedicated service to the
citizens of Hugo.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Hugo City Council officially
recognizes bion Istvanovich as a proud member of the Hugo Fire Department and publicly
thanks him for his 30 years of dedicated service to the City of Hugo.
Adopted this Yd day of Fetnvary 2003 by order of the Hu V Council.
