RESOLUTION 2003-11
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO ENTER INTO
AN AGREEMENT WITH MNDOT TO PROVIDE MAINTENANCE
AND ELECTRICAL ENERGY FOR THE TRAFFIC CONTROL
SIGNAL AT TH61 AND 140M STREET
BE IT RESOLVED that the Council the City of Hugo enter into an agreement
with the State of Minnesota, Department of Transportation for the following purposes, to
wit:
To provide maintenance and electrical energy for the new
traffic control signal with street lights, emergency vehicle pre-
emption and signing on Trunk Highway No. 61 at County
State Aid Highway No. 8 (14dh Street North) —14e Street
North; and for the interconnect on Trunk Highway No. 61
from County State Aid Highway No. 8 (14M Street North) —
140" Street North to County State Aid Highway No. 8 (145`
Street North) in accordance with the terms and conditions set
forth and contained in Agreement No. 84408M, a copy of
which was before the Council.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper City officers be and hereby are
authorized to execute such agreement and any amendments, and thereby assume for and on
behalf of the City all of the contractual obligations contained therein.
Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 18'h day of February
2003.
