HomeMy WebLinkAbout2001.03.19 RESO 2001-0006CITY OF HUGO RESOLUTION 2001- 6 A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING A NEW MUNICIPAL STATE AID STREET FOR THE CITY OF HUGO WHEREAS, the City of Hugo has reviewed its current certification of mileage for municipal state aid streets; and, WHEREAS, the City of Hugo has 0.92 miles of undesignated mileage that is eligible to be added to the municipal state aid street system; and, WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation has reviewed the addition of 147`h Street North between T.H. 61 (Forest Boulevard) and CSAH 8 (Frenchman Road); and, WHEREAS, the Minnesota Department of Transportation has approved the change of designation of 147' Street North from TH 61 to CSAH 8; and, WHEREAS, the City of Hugo has reviewed the recommendation of the City Engineer. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO, WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA, that the route described as follows, to -wit: That portion of 147`h Street that exists between T.H. 61 (Forest Boulevard) and Finale Avenue North along with a proposed westerly extension of 147' Street west from Finale Avenue North to an intersection with CSAH 8 (Frenchman Road). The combined distance of the proposed designation totals 4,300 feet. be, and hereby established, located and designated as a Municipal State Aid Street of said City, subject to the approval of the Commissioner or Transportation of the State of Minnesota. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to forward two certified copies of this resolution to the Commissioner of Transportation for his consideration, and upon his approval of the designated and said road or portion thereof, that same be constructed improved and maintained as a Municipal State Aid Street of the City of Hugo to be numbered and known as 147' Street North.
