CITY OF HUGO
WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO, WASHINGTON
COUNTY, MINNESOTA, AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO ISSUE
EXEMPTIONS PERTAINING TO RESTRICTIONS ON WATER USE WITHIN THE CITY
WHEREAS, the City of Hugo has adopted Ordinance No. 2000-350, which authorizes
the Council to adopt regulations pertaining to conservation of water and adopted subsequent
ordinances establishing those regulations on an odd -even basis; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary that the Public Works Director be authorized to issue written
exemptions from those restrictions in cases where new seed, sod or plantings have been installed.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Hugo,
Washington County, Minnesota, as follows:
1. Upon request, the Public Works Director is authorized to issue exemptions from
the City's odd -even water restrictions for a period not to exceed thirty (30) days in cases where
watering is necessary to preserve new seeding, sod or plantings.
WHEREUPON, a vote being taken upon the motion, the following members voted in favor-

the following voted against: NONE
WHEREUPON, said motion was declared duly passed and adopted by the City Council this
21st day of May , 2001.
