CITY OF HUGO
WASEiGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA
A RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO, WASHINGTON
COUNTY, MMRSOTA, AUTHORIZING QUICK TAKE CONDEMNATION PURSUANT TO
MD44ESOTA STATUTES SECTION 117, ET. SEQ.
WHEREAS, the City of Hugo intends to construct a street, municipal water, sewer and
other impmvements in and new the Peloquin Industrial Park in the City of Hugo, County of
Washington, State of Mumeso* and,
WHEREAS, the City desires to acquire easemcuts for the construcbion, and placement of
the street, municipal water, sewer and other improvements, which easements are attached hereto
as Exhibit "A"; and,
WHERE,A,3, the City has currently been unable to secure the necessary easements
through other means as of Otis time; and,
WHEREAS, the City is desirous of acquiring the easments at the earliest possible time
so that construction on the new City Hall can commence without finrther delay.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Hugo,
Washington County, Minnesota, as follows:
I. The City Attomey sball be and hereby is authorized to commence quick -take
condo nabon proceedings to acquire the above-described easements pursuant to Minnesota
Statutes Section 117.042.
2. The City Staff shall attempt to determine if existing drainage easements on the
Glamos property can be preleased in exchange for adequate consideration.
WHEREUPON, a vote being taken upon the motion, the following members voted in favor-
