RESOLUTION 2001- 50
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO SIGN A TIF AND
PURCHASE AGREEMENT FOR THE SALE OF PROPERTY TO SCHWIETERS
CONSTRUCTION
WHEREAS, Schwieters Construction has requested that the City enter into a purchase
agreement and option agreement with Schwieters Construction for property legally
described as follows:
Lot 2, Block 1, Schwieters Millwork
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Municipal Development District Act, the City has
established Development District No. 1, which boundaries are contiguous with the City's
corporate limits, for the purpose of promoting commercial and industrial development
with the City; and,
WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into TIF and Purchase Agreements with various
businesses to sell or otherwise make available lots for development within the Bald Eagle
Industrial Park.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does authorize the
Mayor and City Administrator to sign a TIF and Purchase Agreement for Lot 2, Block 1,
Schwieters Millwork, as contained in the draft agreements dated 2001.
ADOPTED by the City Council this 5th day of September 2001.
