A RESOLUTION ABATING FENKAY BOULEVARD AS
WHEREAS, the Council adopted Resolution 1998-13 on May 4, 1998; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 1998-13 adopted the assessment roll for the Fenway
Boulevard project; and
WHEREAS, the Finance Department certified the first installment of said
assessments to be collected in 1999; and
WHEREAS, certain events have made it necessary to abate certain
assessments so certified.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HUGO, MINNESOTA:
1. The assessment certified to Parcel #30.031.21.41.0004 in the amount
of $92,073.76 payable in 1999, and all subsequent installments for
the Fenway Boulevard project, are hereby abated.
2. The assessment certified to Parcel #30.031.21.44.0006 in the amount
of $8,387.22 payable in 1999, and all subsequent installments for
the Fenway Boulevard project, are hereby abated.
3. The penalty and interest that have accrued or will accrue on said
assessments is hereby abated.
4. The Finance Director shall submit this resolution and appropriate
documentation to the Washington County Board of Commissioners for
their review and approval.
Upon roll call, the following Council Members voting AYE: Barnes,
Leroux, Haas, Petryk, and Stoltzman.
Upon roll call, the following Council Members voting NAY: None.
Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 6th day
of March, 2000.
