RESOLUTION DETERMINING NEGATIVE DECLARATION
OF NEED FOR ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT
WHEREAS, through the preparation of the Wenzel Farms of Clearwater Creek EAW
and comments received on the EAW have generated information adequate to determine whether
the proposed project has the potential for significant environmental effects; and
WHEREAS, the EAW has identified areas where the potential for significant
environmental effects exist, but appropriate mitigative measures have or will be incorporated into
the project plan and/or permits to reasonably mitigate these impacts; and
WHEREAS, the Wenzel Farms of Clearwater Creek development is expected to
comply with all the City of Hugo standards and review agency standards; and
WHEREAS, based on the criteria established in Minnesota R. 4410.1700, the project
does not have the potential for significant environmental effects; and
WHEREAS, based on the Findings of Fact and Conclusions, the project does not have
the potential for significant environmental impacts;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City of Hugo has determined that an
Environmental Impact Statement is not required for the Wenzel Farms of Clearwater Creek
development.
Upon roll call, members voting AYE: Barnes, Haas, Leroux, Petryk, Stoltzman
Voting NAY: NONE
Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 5h day of June, 2000.
