APPROVING SITE PLAN AND VARIANCE FOR WILSON TOOL FOR A
BUILDING ADDITION ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 12912 FARNHAM ROAD
WHEREAS, Wilson Tool has requested approval of a site plan and variance to allow
construction of a 54,000 square foot building and parking lot addition on property legally
described as follows:
Northeast quarter of the northeast quarter of Section 31, Township 31, Range 21,
Washington County, Minnesota; and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed the site plan at a duly called Public
Meeting and recommends approval, and;
WHEREAS, the Board of Zoning Adjustment has reviewed the variance request and
recommends approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does approve the site
plan and variance for Wilson Tool on property located at 12912 Farnham Road, subject
to the following conditions:
A site plan is approved to allow construction of a 54,000 square foot building
addition, in accordance with the plans and application received by the City on August
7, 2000, except as amended by this resolution.
2. A variance is approved to allow a 25 -foot setback from the rear property line (east
property adjoining the railroad tracts), in accordance with the plans and application
received by the City on August 7, 2000.
3. Prior to issuance of a building permit, the applicant shall submit a landscaping plan in
conformance with ordinance standards.

4. Standard Conditions:
A. Compliance with the City Engineer's Memorandum.
B. Compliance with Rice Creek Watershed District requirements.
C. Compliance with the Fire Chiefs requirements regarding fire flow
calculations, the location of fire hydrants, fire department connections, and
fire lane signage.
D. Compliance with regulations regarding handicapped parking spaces and
access.
ADOPTED by the City Council this 5th day of September 2000.
