RESOLUTION 2000 - 29
APPROVING A BUILDING ADDITION FOR WALTER STOLTZMAN FOR
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 8139 157TH STREET.
WHEREAS, Walter Stoltzman has requested that the City approve a 96 square foot
addition for the existing auto repair building subject to the terms of the agreement
between the Stoltzmans and the City of Hugo dated February 22, 1994 for property
legally described as follows:
The southeast quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 15, Township 31, Range
21, Washington County, Minnesota; and
The Northeast Quarter of the southeast Quarter of Section 15, Township 31,
Range 21, Washington County, Minnesota; and
That part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of Section 15,
Township 31, Range 21, Washington County, Minnesota, lying west of the east
985 feet thereof, subject to 157' Street North.
WHEREAS, pursuant to the agreement between the Stoltzmans and the City, the
Stoltzman may make minor modifications to the auto repair building to eliminate
occupational or environmental hazards provided that the City's consent is first obtained
in writing, and;
WHEREAS, the 96 square foot building addition would not intensify or enlarge the use;
but rather, provide a space in which to locate an air compressor and heating equipment
for noise abatement purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA, that it should and hereby does authorize Walter
Stoltzman to construct a 96 square foot addition to the existing auto repair building on

property located at 8139 157'h Street, subject to the terms and conditions of the agreement
between the Stoltzmans and the City dated February 22, 1994.
ADOPTED by the City Council this 5th day of September 2000.
