RESOLUTION APPROVING PAYABLE 2001
PRELIMINARY LEVY CERTIFICATION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO,
WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA, as follows:
1) The maximum urban tax rate payable 2001 is hereby established
at 3% over the payable 2000 urban tax rate.
2) The additional taxes generated from this increase in the urban
tax rate is hereby set aside for equipment purchases in the
Public Works Department.
3) The Finance Director is hereby directed to quantify and certify
the maximum tax levy payable 2001 to the Washington County
Auditor's office on or before September 15, 2000.
4) The city's Truth -in -Taxation hearing is hereby scheduled for
Monday, December 4, 2000, at 7:00 pm.
5) A continuation hearing, if necessary, is hereby scheduled for
Monday, December 11, 2000, at 7:00 pm.
Upon roll call, the following members voting AYE: Barnes, Leroux,
Haas, and Stoltzman.
Upon roll call, the following members voting NAY: Petryk.
Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 5th
day of September, 2000.
