Resolution recognizing James Leroux for his years of public service to the
City of Hugo, Minnesota.
WHEREAS, James Leroux served for 15 years as a Town Board Supervisor for
Oneka Township from 1961 to September, 1976; and
WHEREAS,' James Leroux served eight years on the Hugo City Council from
January, 1992 to December, 2000; and
WHEREAS, James Leroux served on the new Fire Hall Committee in 1996; and
WHEREAS, James Lerouwserved on the Judicial Ditch Advisory Committee in
1999; and
WHEREAS, James Leroux served on the Custom Slaughter Facilities
Committee in 1999; and
WHEREAS, . James Leroux served on the new City Hall Building Committee
1999; and
WHEREAS, James Leroux has been an active citizen involved in many of the
City projects which have improved the community; and
WHEREAS, The Hugo City Council wishes to formally recognize Jim Leroux
for his loyalty and 23 years of dedicated service to the citizens of
Hugo.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Hugo officially recognize
James Leroux for his meritorious service as a member of the Oneka Lake Township
Board and a member of the Hugo City Council and publicly thank him for his 23 years of
dedicated service to the City of Hugo.
