A RESOLUTION APPROVING OF THE CONCEPT OF THE SOUTHWEST
ONEKA LAKE STORMWATER MANAGEMENT PLAN
WHEREAS, the City has been forwarded a copy of the Southwest Oneka Lake
Stormwater Management Plan (attached hereto as Exhibit "A"); and,
WHEREAS, the City Council is aware of the efforts taken by the landowners to
prepare this plan. The City also approves of this concept as outlined within the Plan; and,
WHEREAS, the City encourages the private property owners involved to work
toward implementation of the goals outlined within this Plan; and,
WHEREAS, the City is currently unable to provide any funding toward the Plan,
but may consider facilitating funding in the future through the use of a Minnesota Statutes,
Chapter 444 assessment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF HUGO, WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the Southwest Oneka Lake Stormwater Management Plan is hereby approved of
in concept.
2. The City encourages the property owners to work toward implementation of the Plan.
3. The City may consider the use of a Chapter 444 funding mechanism in the future in
order to help implement this Plan.
Upon roll call, members voting AYE: Barnes, Haas, Leroux, Petryk, Stoltzman
Voting NAY: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 6th day of December, 1999.
