RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING WATER SERVICE RATES
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the current water
rates are not a true reflection of actual expenses incurred
by the city for the service being provided, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to adjust the water rates to
adequately finance the operation, maintenance, and
improvement of the municipal water system.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Hugo, Minnesota, as follows:
1. Municipal water service rates shall be set at $36.00 for
the first 15,000 gallons of consumption plus $1.70 per
thousand gallons for each thousand gallons or part
thereof over 15,000 gallons per calendar quarter.
2. The water service rates established herein shall become
effective for the utility billing period ending 03/31/00
and shall continue in effect until altered by resolution
of the City Council or until otherwise altered by
operation of law.
Upon roll call, the following Members voting AYE: Barnes,
Leroux, Petryk, and Stoltzman.
Upon roll call, the following Members voting NAY: None.
Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted
this 20th day of December, 1999.
