RESOLUTION DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
PELOQUIN INDUSTRIAL PARK IMPROVEMENTS
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO,
MINNESOTA:
1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of 152nd Street from the east edge of
Forest Boulevard to the east edge of Freeland Avenue, Francesca Avenue from the
south edge of 152nd Street south to the end of the cul-de-sac, and Freeland Avenue
from the south edge of 152nd Street south to the end of the cul-de-sac, by the
extension of municipal water, sanitary sewer, bituminous pavement, curb, gutter and
storm sewer, filed with council on December 15, 1998, is hereby declared to be
signed by the required percentage of owners of property affected thereby. This
declaration is made in conformity to Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.035.
2. The petition is hereby referred to the city engineer and that person is instructed to
report to the council with all convenient speed advising the council in a preliminary
way as to whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost-effective, and feasible
and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some
other improvement as recommended.
Upon roll call, the following members voting AYE: Barnes, Arcand, Leroux, Goiffon,
and Miron.
Upon roll call, the following members voting NAY: None.
Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 21 st day of December,
1998.
