EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF HUGO, MINNESOTA <br />HELD: November 19, 1997 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting <br />of the City Council of the City of Hugo, Minnesota, Vas held at <br />the City Hall in said City on the 19th day of November, 1997, at <br />6:45 o'clock P.M. <br />The following members were present: <br />Warren Arcand, Debra Barnes, Andrew.Goiffon, James Leroux, Fran Miron <br />and the following were absent: NONE <br />The Clerk -Treasurer presented affidavits of posting of <br />notice of election held in accordance with the resolution adopted <br />on September 2, 1997, authorizing said election to vote on the <br />question of borrowing money and issuing General Obligation Bonds <br />in an amount not to exceed $ 1.145.000 , for the purpose of <br />financing a fire station for the City, and also presented the <br />official returns of the judges of election. Said affidavits and <br />returns were duly examined, approved and ordered placed on file <br />in the office of the Clerk -Treasurer. <br />Member Andrew Goiffon introduced the following resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 1997- 22 <br />RESOLUTION CANVASSING RETURNS <br />OF ELECTION <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Hugo, <br />Washington County, Minnesota, that it is hereby found, determined <br />and declared that the election on a question held in and for said <br />City on November 18, 1997, was in all respects duly and legally <br />called and held and the returns thereof have been duly canvassed, <br />and the votes cast at said election for and against the following <br />question were as follows: <br />"Shall the City of Hugo, Minnesota, be authorized to <br />issue its fully registered general obligation bonds in <br />an amount not to exceed $ /Y5,000 to defray the <br />expense of the acquisition and betterment of a fire <br />station?" <br />330976.1 <br />
