RESOLUTION DECLARING ADEQUACY OF PETITION
AND ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF HUGO..MINNESOTA:
1. A certain petition requesting the improvement of 177th Street, between
the east line of Greystone Avenue and the west line of Henna Avenue, is
hereby declared to be signed by the required percentage of owners of
property affected thereby. This declaration is made in conformity to
Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.035.
2. The petition is hereby referred to the City Engineer, Thomas Angus,
and he is instructed to report to the Council with all convenient speed
advising the Council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed
improvement is feasible, including the construction of 177th Street from
the west line of Henna Avenue to the east line of Greystone Avenue, and
reconstruction of Greystone Avenue to link those portions of 177th Street
lying east and west of Greystone Avenue, all to the City's paved 9 -ton
revised standard. The Engineer shall recommend whether the project should
best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and
the estimated cost of the improvement, as recommended.
Upon roll call, following members voting AYE: Barnes, Goiffong LaValle,
Leroux, Miron
Voting NAY: NONE
Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 2nd day of
October,. 1995.
