RESOLUTION THANKING SCOUT TROOP #151 FOR PLANTING TREES
IN THE CITY'S MUNICIPAL PARK
WHEREAS, Cub Scout Pack #151 provided s service to the community with
the planting of trees at the municipal park located at 147th Street and
Fitzgerald Avenue, and
WHEREAS, these trees provide improved appearance to the park, as well
as shade and comfort to residents using the park, and
WHEREAS, the project added to the City's sense of community through
the example provided by the scouts' unselfish efforts in seeking to
improve the recreational opportunities available to area residents;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO,
WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA, hereby commends Cub Scout Pack #151 for
their sense of civic spirit and concern for the environment, and
FURTHERMORE, the Council expresses their appreciation for the scouts'
efforts in making the community a more enjoyable place to live, work, and
play.
Upon roll call, members voting AYE: Debra Barnes, Bernard Brumotte, James
Leroux, Fran Miron, Walter Stoltzman
Voting NAY: NONE
Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 4th day of
October, 1993.
