A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING 129TH STREET AS A "NO PARKING" ZONE.
WHEREAS, 129th Street, between Elmcrest Avenue and Ethan Avenue, is
subject to poor traffic visibility due to the winding path of the road,
and
WHEREAS, Bald Eagle Lake and adjacent ponding areas restrict the
movement of pedestrians in many areas to the road right-of-way, and
WHEREAS, the bridges located on 129th Street provide obstructions to
traffic vision and channel vehicle and pedestrian traffic to a narrow
corridor,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF HUGQ, WASHINGTON
COUNTY. MINNESOTA. that 129th Street, between Elmcrest Avenue and the west
line of Ethan Avenue, shall be a NO PARKING zone, and
FURTHERMORE, the City Administrator is directed to have signs posted as
necessary to inform the public of the NO PARKING status of this road.
Upon roll voting AYE: Barnes, Brunotte, Leroux, Miron, Stoltzman
Voting NAY: NONE
Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 4th day of
October, 1993.
