RESOLUTION REQUESTING TIME EXTENSION FOR AMENDMENTS
TO THE CITY'S COMPREHENSIVE PLAN, AND AUTHORIZE
PREPARATION OF SAME.
WHEREAS, The Metropolitan Council has requested that the City of Hugo
review its Comprehensive Plan for consistency with 1968's System
Statements requirements, and
WHEREAS, The information provided by the Metropolitan Council is not
adequate to properly review the System Statement in a timely manner,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO,
WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA AS FOLLOWS:
1. The City of Hugo requests a six-month extension of time for Comp Plan
and System Statement review to afford the City adequate time for
proper review and amendments, if required.
2. City Engineer, Howard Kuusisto, be and hereby is authorized to proceed
with review of the City's Comprehensive Plan as to its consistency
with 1988's System Statement, and prepare any and all recommendations
and amendments to the Comprehensive Plan, where needed.

Whereupon said resolution was declared
