RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORT ON
IMPROVEMENT OF ELMCREST AVENUE, PROJECT #4-2-90
WHEREAS, It is proposed to improve Elmcrest Avenue from Washington
County State Aid Highway #8, south to 129th Street, by the improvement of
bituminous surfacing and related improvements, and to assess the benefited
property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to
Minnesota Statutesq Chapter 429; and
WHEREAS, said improvement to Elmcrest Avenue was part of the planning
authorized by the City of Hugo as part of its Capital Improvements Plan
adopted May 2.1_ 1988; and
WHEREAS, The City of Lino Lakes has contracted with Short, Elliot, and
Hendrickson Engineers, to conduct a study and to prepare a feasibility
report on the feasibility of said improvement; and
WHEREAS,, The City of Hugo and the City of Lino Lakes have agreed on
sharing of the cost of such study and feasibility report:
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO,
WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA:
That the feasibility report for the proposed improvement referred by the
City of Lino Lakes to Mr. Dan Boxrud of Short, Ellioto & Hendrickson
Engineers for study, shall be utilized to advise the Hugo City Council in
a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible, and
as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in conjunction with
some other improvemento and the estimated cost of the improvement as
recommended.
Upon roll call,, Council members voting AYE: McAllister, Jesinski, Olson,
Vail, Atkinson
Voting NAY: NONE
Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 2nd day of
April,, 1990.
