RESOLUTION OBTAINING EXCESS LIABILITY INSURANCE COVERAGE
WHEREAS, The City of Hugo desires to obtain excess liability
insurance coverage from the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance
Trust in the amount of $1 million, and
WHEREAS, Cities obtaining said coverage must decide whether
or not to waive the statutory liability limits to the extent of
the excess coverage purchased, and
WHEREAS, This decision must be made by resolution of the
City Council;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
HUGO, WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA:
That the City of Hugo accepts excess liability coverage limits of
$1 million from the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City of Hugo does not waive the
monetary limits on tort liability established by Minnesota
Statutes 466.04 in accepting said excess coverage.
Upon roll call, the following members voted AYE: McAllister,
Jesinksi, Olson, Vail and Atkinson
Voting NAY: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this
2nd day of April, 1990.
