RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT AND CALLING FOR HEARING
ON IMPROVEMENT FOR PHASE 2, CIP #1990-1
WHEREAS, Pursuant to resolutions of the City Council adopted August
6, 1990, and August 20, 1990, a report has been prepared by Howard,
Kuusisto, City Engineer, with reference to the improvement of Inwood
Avenue from 180th Street south to 175th Street, 175th Street from Inwood
Avenue west to Ingersoll Avenue, Ingersoll Avenue from 175th south to
170th Street, 130th Street from County State Aid Highway 8A west to Irish
Avenue, Irish Avenue from 130th Street south to County State Aid Highway
7, 125th Street from Goodview Avenue east to Homestead Drive, 132nd Street
from Goodview Avenue east to County Road 8A, Homestead Avenue from 132nd
Street north to 147th Street, Henna Avenue from 132nd Street south to Hilo
Avenue, and Hilo Avenue from Henna Avenue south to 125th Street, by the
improvement of street surfacing and related improvements, and this report
was received by the City Council on October 15, 1990;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO,
WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA:
1. The Council will consider the improvement of said streets in
accordance with the reports, and the assessment of abutting property,
for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement, pursuant to
Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429, at an estimated total cost of the
improvement of $1,483,540.
2. The public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the
26th day of November, 1990 at the Withrow Elementary School, 10158
122nd Street North, Hugo, MN., at 7:00 PM. Said site to serve as the
City Council chambers, and the Clerk shall give mailed and published
notice of such hearing and improvement, as required by law.
Upon roll call, Councilmembers voting AYE: Jesinski, McAllister, Olson,
Vail, Atkinson
Voting NAY: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared pa and adopted this 15th day of
October, 1990.
