A RESOLUTION AMENDING PLAN REVIEW AND MECHANICAL PERMIT FEES.
WHEREAS, the City of Hugo has adopted the Uniform Building Code 1985
Edition as the official building code of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City has set building permit fees and plan review fees to
offset the cost of code enforcement; and
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the City Council to assure that the code
enforcement office is self supporting; and
WHEREAS, the plan review fees and mechanical permit fees are in need
of revision;
NOW, THEREFORE,, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF HUGO.,
WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA:
1. The City's plan check fee be amended to 65% of the building permit fee
established for single family dwellings, multiple family dwellings.,
industrial structures, commercial structures and other buildings
requiring structural plans.
2. The fees for mechanical permits will be increased as follows:
$30.00 for any new or replacement central heating system and $20.00
for any new or replacement air conditioning and zero -clearance
fireplace installations; and $15.00 for gas piping inspections only;
plus a minimum .50 surcharge per permit.
3. This increase in plan review and mechanical permit fees shall be
effective January 1, 1991.

McAllister, Vail
Upon roll call, councilmembers voting NAY: NONE
Whereupon said resolution was declared passed and adopted this 5th day of
Novemberit 1990.
